Kespar Engineering Synthetic Lubrication Systems Automatic lubrication systems The Kespar Group subsidiary company SLS (Synthetic lubrication systems) have built up a technical reputation within the forging industry for their expertise in the field of forging lubricants. The hot forging industry requirements range from elementary forging to the more discerning applications of deep die work or high strength alloy forming. There are two main product categories, namely the clean white environmentally friendly lubricants and high grade graphite lubricants. These lubricants have the advantage of refined particle size and dispersion which allows a uniform film deposit on the tooling surfaces and this enhances tooling life and efficiency.

Automatic lubrication module The SLS lubrication module is designed as a compact portable unit which may be easily moved from one forging unit to another. The Forging equipment pipe work is arranged by the customer to suit the particular application so that the lubricating spray is directed precisely where required on the tooling. A flexible quick connect adaptor enables the output of the lubrication module to be coupled up to the pipe work. The output is provided from the atomiser within the module which provides a fine spray via the 10mm copper pipes direct to the application. There is no need to have special nozzles as the complete atomisation takes place within the special unit. The frequency and time interval of air cleaning blast, lubrication spraying time, water spray is programmable in any sequence from the control system.
